THE FRIENDSHIP’S PRICE
La storia di una ragazzina che dopo un incidente perde l’uso delle gambe e il padre credendo di aiutarla paga i compagni di scuola per uscire con lei il sabato sera.
This is the story of a young girl who loses the use of her legs after an accident. Believing he’s helping her, her father pays her schoolmates to go out with her on Saturday nights.
Bio Regista
Mario Cosentino, nato a Giarre (Catania), si diploma in pittura all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Catania nel 1989. Lavora brevemente in scenografia, collaborando con il Teatro Greco di Siracusa, e come illustratore per un’agenzia pubblicitaria. Scopre nel cinema il mezzo espressivo ideale e si avvicina alla regia come autodidatta, producendo vari video e integrando questa passione nel suo insegnamento. Debutta alla regia con CAPOLINEA, seguito da IL PRESTIGIATORE e SGANGSTERS.
Mario Cosentino, born in Giarre (Catania), graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania in 1989. He briefly worked in set design, collaborating with the Greek Theatre of Syracuse, and as an illustrator for an advertising agency. He found cinema to be his ideal expressive medium and began directing as a self-taught filmmaker, producing various videos and incorporating this passion into his teaching. His directorial debut was with CAPOLINEA, followed by IL PRESTIGIATORE and SGANGSTERS.
