HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LUCA!
Un mese prima dell’esame di maturità, cinque studenti si confidano i sogni e i desideri che vorrebbero realizzare dopo la laurea. In cima ai sogni di Luca c’è quello di formare una band insieme ai suoi compagni di classe. Un anno dopo, però, i suoi amici non si presentano alla sua festa di compleanno, nonostante la promessa solenne di incontrarsi ogni anno per suonare insieme.
A month before the final exam, five students share their dreams and hopes for life after graduation. At the top of Luca’s dreams is forming a band with his classmates. A year later, however, his friends fail to show up for his birthday party, despite their solemn promise to meet up every year to play together.
Bio Regista
Nello Correale, regista e sceneggiatore, ha ottenuto visibilità con la sceneggiatura di LUNA E L’ALTRA (1996), vincendo il Golden Globe per la Miglior Sceneggiatura. Come regista, ha realizzato film come OLTREMARE – NON È L’AMERICA (1998), affrontando il tema dell’identità culturale dei migranti italiani. Ha diretto documentari come I RAGAZZI DELLA PANARIA (2004), candidato al David di Donatello, e LA VOCE DI ROSA (2011), omaggio a Rosa Balestrieri. Tra i suoi lavori recenti spicca SENZA MALIZIA (2021), dedicato alla vita di Laura Antonelli.
Nello Correale, a director and screenwriter, gained recognition with the screenplay for LUNA E L’ALTRA (1996), winning the Golden Goblet for Best Screenplay. As a director, he created films like OLTREMARE – NON È L’AMERICA (1998), exploring the cultural identity of Italian migrants. He also directed documentaries such as I RAGAZZI DELLA PANARIA (2004), nominated for a David di Donatello, and LA VOCE DI ROSA (2011), a tribute to Rosa Balestrieri. His recent work SENZA MALIZIA (2021) focuses on the life of actress Laura Antonelli.
